The Yangon Film School is a registered non-profit association that relies on donations and grants to carry out its activities.
Since its inception in 2005, the Yangon Film School has fostered a growing nucleus of talented filmmakers, giving them the tools and the impetus to create challenging work in an environment where constraints abound. Their films provide a hitherto unseen window on the lives of ordinary people in Myanmar.
By making a donation to the Yangon Film School you are helping us to build solid media skills and a means of livelihood for the country’s creative young people, thus giving a neglected generation a voice – and a reason to stay in Myanmar.
