Synopsis
Thirteen–year-old Maung Lin is working on a farm 500 miles away from his native village near Monywa. In this film, director Thi Ha Thwe tries to find out how its shy and modest protagonist copes with homesickness and isolation.

Biography
Thiha Twe began his film career in 1996 as a producer for Myanmar’s pioneering non-fiction production house, AV Media. He later co-produced the independent VCD magazine, Disc Diary, which operated from 2004-2005. A news cameraman for Japanese broadcaster NHK, he joined Yangon Film School in 2007. After his directorial debut Far From Home (2007) he made a film about the struggle to combat malaria in Kachin State (Saving Sankar, 2008) for the NGO World Concern.
